1950 Lone Ranger Ed-U Cards
There are 120 total cards in this popular W536-2 television movie series featuring legendary western actors Clayton Moore (The Lone Ranger) and Jay Silverheels (Tonto). There are 40 different three card panels, each with a size of 2 inches by 7 7/8 inches. Every panel contains two lines of factory perforations where the cards could be separated into individual singles (2 inches by 2 5/8 inches each). The cards and panels are all in absolutely superb condition, having been perfectly preserved in their original cardboard boxes for 60 years.
The cardboard sleeves are color coded in red (Series No. 1), blue (Series No. 2), light orange (Series No. 3), green (Series No. 4), yellow (Series No. 5), magenta (Series No. 6), brown (Series No. 7), and dark orange (Series No. 8).
There are handsome illustrations and text on both the front and back of each cardboard sleeve and it appears as if at least three of the eight packs have never been opened. There is a die-cut picture window on each pack, introducing the adventure subset, although the front picture card is random.
The four adventure subsets are: Outlaws Revenge (card numbers 1-30 or the first 10 panels), Danger Ahead (card numbers 31-60 or the second 10 panels), A Drink of Water (card numbers 61-90 or the third 10 panels), and Thieve's Money (card numbers 91-120 or the fourth 10 card panels). There are 5 panels (15 total
cards) in each of the 8 cardboard sleeves. All of the 120 cards are numbered on back and have unique subjects.
To date, only 45 total complete panels have been graded by PSA and SGC combined --
just five more panels than what would compose a complete set. However, there is no complete panel set registered. This co;;ection is not complete. Im missing series one.
